Dear customer please,
We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at African Beauty Tresses. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed.

Service rendering

Be advised that the styles in magazines or seen on others may vary based on each person and perception. We do not guaranty that our designs will look exactly the same as in magazines or pictures. We encourage customers to make suggestions, comment, and ask questions while service is being rendered in order to avoid last minute dissatisfaction.

Kindly select your style wisely! Not every style suites everyone’s face. Please be advised that unless there is an issue in the work that we have done, one style cannot be exchanged for another. If you do not like a style or there is an issue with the hair you have purchased, be advised that FULL price will be charged for another service. We can only make suggestions; at the end of the day we will perform the service you request.

Let us know if you feel a braid is too tight and we will redo it immediately! What may feel tight for you may not be for another person. It is solely your responsibility to let us know during the braiding process when something feels too tight. Once your style is completed we will not be responsible for any discomfort. Please be advised that if you choose to take out a style it is at your sole discretion

Appointments

Kristyna is available on Mondays through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The earliest available appointment is at 6 a.m. and the latest available is at 3 p.m. To book a late (after 4 p.m.) appointment for a style that takes 3 hours or more to complete, you must request and receive a special approval from Kristyna. This night owl appointment will incur an additional fee due at the time of your deposit. Sundays bookings will require the same procedure and incur a higher convenience fee. Appointment and $30 deposit fee are required!!

we can come to you at your convenience with a travel fee. The travel fee depends on the distance. We will ask for your address before you book your appointment to determine the travel fee. However, you can be our guest and come to us with no travel fee. cashapp, zelle, venmo and cash are our mode of payments

Late arrivals and no shows

Please be courteous to your braider. Let us know at least 1h prior if you're going to be late. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your appointment and your deposit will be forfeit.

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel your appointment, we simply ask that you notify us of any cancellations or rescheduling at least 24 hours before the appointment. If the booking was made on the same day, notify us at least 3 hours prior. Cancellations that break these rules will cause a $20 fee added to your next appointment. Two missed appointments equal being banned from booking with us.

Hair Allergies

Please be aware that synthetic hair may cause allergic reactions.

If any allergic reaction occurs, African Beauty Tresses will not be held at fault. In the event that you decide not to keep the extensions, you are fully responsible for payment of services rendered. The charge for the removal of hair extensions is not included in the original service.

If you have any allergies to certain products you are welcome to bring your own.

Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service.

Wellness

If you are feeling unwell, are experiencing any symptoms of illness or have had known contact with a person who has tested positive with Covid-19, we ask that you please cancel your appointment and reschedule after a 14-day period. We thank you for your cooperation!

-Pricing on all services may vary according to length and size of the style
-We do not issue refunds. We guarantee your satisfaction with our services. however, if you’re not satisfied with any service performed please contact us within 48 hours so we can visually inspect your hair and gladly correct it.
-For certain large services we may require a non-refundable $50 deposit.
